Hi Bob.... Yes, I see what you mean about it being 15 years old now.... Something to think about for sure!

About The Ely Meet on the 8th. I'm really intending to go to this, and yes, we could meet up at the Winchester Services, (for a Coffee) on the M3 Northbound: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.11...!3m1!1e3?hl=en

There is no real easier place to do it that doesn't take either of us out of our way as you'll be approaching the M3 on the M27 from the West and I'll be approaching from the East.

I was thinking 09:00hrs.??

Let me know. It'll be good to catch-up, it's been too long!

Ciao for now...

I removed front bumper, fitted a Jules gold resistor, contact cleaner an ACF 50'd all electrical connections, fitted a pair of twin horns and put it all back together again. Cheers Jules.

Picked the 75 up from the garage. £285 lighter after front discs and pads all round, track rod end, wear indicator x 2. Labour and tax are the killer

I'm not sure what they fitted. Probably something mid range. Its going back anyway. The pedel is too soft/spongy.

I replaced my front brake back plates. Such a simple job, however, it was not plane sailing. The caliper carrier bolts were torqued up to 140lb/ft rather than 74! Also the back plate retaining bolts were so rusty I had to use a chisel and hammer to undo them.
Anyway, nice fresh painted back plates and caliper carriers look much better.
