Good evening all It is that time of the year isn't it Freddie. I brought out some pressies in my luggage for myself as SWMBO was not sure what to get for me, a trickle charger and an air pump for the car. I have simple needs it seems oh! then there was a flea trap which the Cat Rescue sells via Jeff I managed to squeeze that one in at the last minute.

Put your feet up Freddie and relax ....

Those poor unfortunate people out in the Phillipines to have to endure that super storm.

No complaints here. It is coming up to 8.30 pm and it is 23C. The bongo drums have started up in a village across the valley and they will probably go on beating until about 2 or 3 a.m. It is lovely to hear them as they remind me of being in Africa lol and they help me to sleep.

Thanks for sharing the letter about Mr Edd and how he has been doing since he left for the USA. I am glad to see it has worked out for him.

Some meteorologists are saying it's the fiercest storm ever to make landfall! Luckily it was north of where Ging's family is but I haven't heard anything from Anthony. His wife, Maricel, is from the island of Cebu and that got hit hard, the eye of the storm passed over the north of the island.

What a worrying time. I hope that Anthony and Maricel's family will pull through okay
