If the convoy drops by my neck of the woods then I might be able to squeeze in a little run about hopefully
I think Fred's current keeper is Bernard LPG but as to where Fred will be during the convoy is anyone's guess - he does like to travel our Fred. Perhaps the convoy would be a good way for Fred to get to new places and to members he hasn't seen and visited yet |

Thanks. That would be a good idea if there were "regional" coordinators
I could do Wales, from say Cardiff to Wrexham (?). The others would be for the NW England, Not too sure about how many club members there are in Scotland. May have to cheat a bit and cut across the country. Any Scottish members got any ideas on this one? So we would then need to come down the east coast and along the south coast, and up to Bristol/ Cardiff. So any offers of coordinators? Do any admin have a pin map of members they can fax me? So all we need to do is fill in the blanks and then organise the location for the start/finish. Easy Volunteers required please, (Quickly now before my car breaks down again )

No Pin maps as Members Locations are not part of Registration details.
There is a thread where some members have pinned their location on. Will look it out. Only alternative is going through members lists. I can do from Conwy to Manchester (Motorway or any near Location Airport Ideal ) Incorporates Wrexham on Way. EDIT to Pin Map. Blow it up or Zoom in for more Detail. http://www.mapservices.org/myguestmap/map/75andztmap Last edited by JohnDotCom; 16th October 2008 at 21:39.. |

I really think that the way forward is local coordinators, as it would simply be too much for one man to do the whole country, esp. me, as I've got a fairly full winter schedule with local charities and events. But as stated I can do the Welsh region as the number of stages would be relatively small, as indeed the number of members available. Plenty of members in North Wales, so one from there? I could for example, go to say Carmarthen, meet a stager, and double back and do the coast road (A roads only guys) to Aberystwyth. about a 150 miles or so.

We are having an unofficial Meet in Glasgow in a couple weeks time, we could discuss it then to see who is up for it!
