It's safe to provide the sort code and account number on an open forum. All the large organisations openy provide this info on all their paperwork, giro bank credit slips etc.

This is how I have organised payments to MGFreedom by their members for the annual calendars, events etc. It doesnt cost anything either and its quick and easy to do. All the member has to do is call their bank with the sort code and account numbrer, authorise the amount, give a reference ie your name, job done. The money is in the receiving account immediately.

Default Sarr 2012

Payment of the entry fee does NOT have to be via cheque, although this is obviously preferred. I am quite happy to accept Postal Orders or even cash if you want to take a chance on Royal Mail.

We have looked at using Paypal and credit / debit card payments but for a small operation such as ours the merchant fees are out of all proportion. I will pass on the message regarding direct payments, but at this time our banking procedures are not geared up to allow us to do it. Maybe we can get this in place for 2013!

regards TC

Looking, but not found "the one" yet...........

(but it will not be a 75/ZT I'm afraid)

Looking for a particular spec and possible colour combinations (a few options) so searching the whole country and may have to travel to find "the one". Had some help from some members already but missed out on a couple.

I'll post up when I am successful, and once I know what I will be taking to the SARR.

That would be a little unfair as there are some members (now 4 ) who know what I am looking for as two have viewed cars for me and a 3rd was going to but the car sold. Trying to set up a possible viewing of a 4th (hence 4th member) at the moment.

(and No, it is not Tim's MGF )

Just checked my calendar, unfortunately I cant be at the SARR this year. It clashes with a family do.

Just spent all last Sunday morning cleaning the engine bay in preparation for SARR. Ah well.

Aww, There I was getting my hopes up. If I ask Elsa nicely she might let you borrow it for the day....
