My father was teaching me to drive at 10 years old in his MK2 Cortina, carried on through to MK3, 4 and MK5, the 2.8 Granada at age 13 was a thrill.

I was driving JCB's and dumper trucks on the building sites from early to late teens.

Passed my test first time age 17 in a silly Peugeot 205.

A Hillman Husky side valve circa 1955. My first buy that cost me my life's savings (about £120 over 17years).

My instructors brand new Rover Metro (1990 ish), it had 500 miles on it and I stalled at a roundabout and someone ran straight into the back of it. For an old guy I never saw him move as quick when he jumped out to look at it.
