I wonder if you did select the one touch close or it was a bug? As when I used it, I definitely did NOT select tailgate opening (which was selected with bot release) and it disabled my remote release.

Something tells me that it was my own doing, because when you first mentioned TOAF, I had a lightbulb 💡 moment.
It must be at least 2 months ago that I was tinkering, and the brother has had the car since then.
Of course I blamed him when I got the car back and the window wouldn't work.😞
Time for an apology and some humble pie.....😳.

But I can't let him off with the children's youghrt covered finger smears all over the rear window.... even down in the most hard to reach places😡.
