Hi John:
Please to hear about you running around into our "backyard". Yes, sunshine kills darker colors on our Rover´s, but I might say that there few reasons why for example, some owners have to left their car on the street because they don´t have a garage, also no paint care ej. regular wash & polish. That´s on one side, others including my self have the benefit of a garage and like to have our babies in top-notch condition including the paint. About scrap yards, there are several around Spain, but not all they have Rover 75´s. There´s one in Madrid the biggest in Spain, where you can find almost every bit that you´re looking for, but it´s very expensive, I rather buy it new from UK known suppliers. Cheers...!!!!

Grout, I think it's gone to the crusher. I'll check in 3 weeks when I'm back.

I have read in the news lately that quite a few ex-patriots in Spain are going to lose their houses.
That's terrible news for folk that have been living in Spain for quite a good few years now and have nothing to go back to in GB.--- |

T4 or TOAF equipment in Spain
I am in Mojacar and wondered if there is anyone near who has either of these as I need to have a check as I have the dreaded water leak from the sunroof drains and now the airbag light stays on and I need to know if it is the side impact sensors that are the fault as these are very expensive to replace and hard to obtain for my early version.
All advice welcomed |

Help Request
Hi James:
I have a Toaf which I use for my two Rover 75's. However, I have checked and there are nearly 400 miles between you and me as I live in Segovia. For your draining problem, I have a Rover with a sunroof and I could help you to unclog them. For the Airbag Light, in most cases the problem is corrected by disconnecting, cleaning, and reconnecting the plug under the front seats. You would have to test which side is generating the signal. The side impacts. How do you come to the conclusion that you have problems with these? If any are to be located it would be at a junkyard. Let me know if I can help you. Kind regards. Joel Antonio.

Glad to know you have a TOAF, just a wee bit too far to travel lol. I have repaired all the sunroof drain problems, 2 pipes just touching and 2 completly loose, amazing, so the now repaired. The airbag problem is still there after a garage in Alicante soldered the wires together on the passenger side. I just felt that by checking with a TOAF check this would eliminate the side impact sensors being faulty! Yes, they are hard to obtain and I was quoted £187.00 each by DMGRS in England before I came out here just in case I needed them. Thank you for your reply and offer of help, much appreciated. Many thanks Jim |
