My laptop isn't even a year old.
I thought there was something strange going on. I will take it back to Curry's next week and see what can be done.

Love the lighting on the car shots. I’m not a fan of editing on laptops as colours can look different with the screen at different angles

If you don’t have the option of a pc and it has to be a laptop I would look at a calibration device like colour munki or something similar. You would have to set it up each time but you’d soon get used to the angle that the screen is set for your view

In the meantime, I've tried adjusting how my monitor displays things through the calibration settings.
It's made everything darker which I guess is positive as now my images should be lighter on other devices. As a trial, I have just done this: This is a combination of rawtherapee using gradient filter and photoshop raw editor... Porlock weir by Philip Davies, on Flickr What do you think?
