I know mine isn't in this shipment but just want to be prepared for when mines sent.

It's the first I've come across UPS shop to shop, good idea by the way.
I've just been looking on the UPS site and they say to collect your parcel you need to show a photo id
What happens if like me I haven't got a photo id? haven't got a passport and still have the old style driving license.

Andy
Now that's something I don't know!
I guess it might be worth contacting UPS to check on their policy and find a solution.
I'm sure it won't be a problem

Not only that Hermes/Yodel etc have managed to lose parcels and have slow deliveries and just were not giving a satisfactory service.

The system used has been far more successful and most people have appreciated not having to take a day off work and having to wait in all day for a failed delivery etc.
Now they should just get a message and can pick it up at their convienance usually at a store within a mile or so from their address

Anyhow,
Hopefully you will be able to retrieve your parcel today
Unfortunately, I DID take a day off work because I wasn't told that it would not be delivered to my home address. Had I known , I would not have wasted a holiday.

I have got it and, after weeks of waiting and promises broken, it is missing the reverse camera and looks like someone has been at it with a hacksaw - doesn't look new.

On the order form in the box does it mention a reversing camera?
If yes then that's my fault and I apologise and we will get one straight out to you.
If no then something's not correct with the order and again we will get this corrected.

With regard to the hacksaw.
These units are also designed to also fit BMW E46 cars and they have plastic locating ears either side of the radio.
This is the same for the Naval1 and also Dynavin units, these have to be cut off to enable fitting in our cars.
The plastic trim is not seen as it fits behind the dashboard when installed

Thanks Jeff,
Will fire an email off to UPS and see what they say.

Don't send it yet Sean, please.

I am rather disillusioned by it all now and am thinking about returning it but, don't want to make a hasty decision so am going to sleep on it. It has been the single, most frustrating, dragged-out online purchase I have ever made and I really wish I hadn't bothered if I am brutally honest. I have lost all enthusiasm for it.

Next I split the shipments into 3 parts because bringing in too many at one time can cause delays and issues at the Import and the export , this based on past experience ! The issue that we are having now is SPACE constraints by the courier. We are on a waiting list to fly with this weeks shipment which was SUPPOSED to have left last Thursday , to arrive this coming Thursday

We have just received 1 shipment (1/2 delivered on Friday last week and 1/2 yesterday afternoon) We, in one day, managed to turn all of them back out and post them. So those that have them coming , have received tracking.

We are awaiting the 2nd shipment to fly and booking space for the 3rd one now to go next week .
Update to this part above : (from my agent)

"Really a s**t, after calling numerous time the forwarder now advise the Shenzhen FedEx cannot go through because of UR patent issue (marked on the wires), BUT he said hong kong FedEx is OK now so I asked him to switch immediately. He said it could online tomorrow, he is not performed professional on this. He will know it"

this means we will have it early to mid week coming in UK
