I've never owned a Jag, the closest I came was owning a Daimler Double Six, similar to this one........
Very nice motor indeed, silky smooth, and very, very, very, thirsty !! I never managed better than 12 MPG, but then again it was a 312BHP beast It came in as a trade in at my mate's garage over twenty years ago, and I paid the princely sum of £800, drove it around until I ran out of money to keep it filled up, then sold it for £1500. If I'd had somewhere to keep it, I would have......a lovely motor, and it would have been an appreciating asset now. Brian |
