Thought i'd jump in for a round,

I have over 700 apps displayable on my droid whereas the Iphone can only display around 180.

Its 4G ready whereas the iphone well, just isnt http://www.gottabemobile.com/2011/10...android-droid/

Android has free GPS
Android has Near field communication
Iphone 4s has siri i have a dozen apps that actually do the same but work.

Iphone's CPU runs at 800mhz and is very efficient beating droids in benchmarks - until the droid is overclocked then it steams ahead (mine is at 1.5ghz)

Dont get me wrong the Iphone is an amazing piece of kit but the latest droids simply wipe the floor with them.

Nothing wrong with the iPhone, it's just I hate all the b-s you have to go through if you want to put music and stuff on it - whereas with most other phones it just 'drag & drop'.... Easy! That's why I like the HTC Sensation....

My old one was around that size, used to charge my phone 3 times-ish, my new one is much bigger and bulkier and (don't tell the missus, she bought me it) not as handy

I couldn't live without one now.

BTW My main gripe about the iphone isn't price, speed, compatability or any of these things, it's the users I don't feel the need to call my phone "my HTC" or my car "the Rover 75" so why do iphone owners call their phones "my iphone" ?

That reminds me of a joke; How can you tell if someone owns an iphone ? Because they tell you

I'm not a fan of SenseUI, I use LauncherPro Plus & Folder Oragnizer to arrange my gazillion apps

Samsung Galaxy S2. Easily a match for anything out there now, still, but because its a year old its getting cheap. Far superior to an iPhone and mature, so very well supported.

I have a custom ICS build on mine, its lightening fast and frankly feels smoother than the new quad core devices.

I also use Navfree, its excellent

Also I have never used itunes/ipod player ever on my phone, in fact the only time it was connected to the PC was on initial setup.

I jail broke mine using http://www.jailbreakme.com have since installed Musicbox (which is also available for Android as I use it on a Tablet) and I get all my music through that and play music via that app too, of course I make sure I only download the music I have CD's for

I have an iPhone on pay as you go and it has never let me down. I have to change sims from country to country as I get around a bit at the moment, and it logs me in and out of the net and email very simply as the phone does it all for you. I was looking at Android and the salesman said I got a 3GS half price, unlocked, boxed and cheaper than the all singing n dancing Samsung which was about £200 more on the p-y-go. The deals are there to be had. It would be handy though if the screen was bigger and battery lasted longer in between charges. Choice and competition is in favour of the consumer. The tech specs stuff is mind boggling to say the least. Good luck with that!

As my signature usually shows, I use a Samsung Galaxy Nexus with the Tapatalk app. It's great as it really makes the whole experience better on mobiles.
