I think I have read somewhere that you are not aloud to have any filler neck for any fuel inside the car, not sure if the door jam is inside? ~ another thread I guess. Instead of an lpg conversion I just purchased an office less than a mile from the house no need to drive now

I've never been a fan of the Technical Grey dash so today's job was to take it all out and replace the trims with Rhodium ones;

Just need to source a 4 hole switch panel now although I have a blank one here so may try cutting the holes myself.

I will probably see if the seller on Ebay can mix me up a can of Moonshine paint for the LPG fillers, it probably won't be perfect but much better than black!

Looking good Mark. Some members prefer the look of the earlier Rhodium version. Drivers cup holder too..

LPG filler caps in body colour will make a vast improvement.

That rhodium dash doesn't have the plastic project drive 'airbag' badge, yours is written on like the real wood dash versions, and no gaps around the air vents either

Well spotted I picked it up on Ebay a while back when I was after one to paint. When it turned up and was one of the early dashes I put it to one side. Has been sat in the cupboard ever since so I have finally found a use for it.

Metal backed too, unlike the later Technical versions. It means less creaks when moving over rough surfaces.

So I haven't been keeping this as up to date as I would of liked

But here is a peak at what I've been up to

Firstly some nice Sports Leathers to replace the Alcantara, along with a leather armrest

Note the hard seat backboards, these Leathers were from a pre-facelift and I find the quality much better than those in the facelift cars.

Then came dismantling the IPK to install the 75 chrome rings to compliment the SE interior

And the addition of a BMW Widescreen

Please excuse the missing trim panel, that's part of my next project
