I did the idle rpm check again today, and got similar numbers - all roughly between 750 and 800 once up to temperature, hovering mostly around the 750 mark on the OBD scanner.

The rev-counter on the dashboard was reasonably accurate - perhaps showing a tiny bit lower, but it's hard to say, given that the only visible marks on the tacho are 200rpm apart, at 800 and 600. I'd say the needle was pretty steady at 'about 700'. Ish!

Hope this helps.
i've done service last saturday. changed spark plugs myself(not easy) and leads. it's a bit steadier now and idle rpm is about 700. i think it's all right now. thanks for all replies once again.

If the idle is not steady have a look at the idle valve give it a clean with brake cleaner or similar

I haven't actually checked any V6 with my Testbook to see if there is an option to change the idle like you can on the CDT

Every V6 I have worked on to to date has had a perfect idle or an obvious fault either the idle valve, manifold air leaks, or Vis motors, funnily enough I have never seen any ignition related problems though!
