there is some nice cars available if you look around but like you say some overpriced ones at the dealers. I sold mine which was a diesel with the 160bhp remap for £1450 after initially having it up for £1700. it was virtually mint inside and out. no interest until I dropped the price for a quick sale.

that's a shame as it was a nice ZT. if it wasn't repaired hopefully someone got the wheels, seats and dashboard.

The trouble is there are a lots of liars out there, but not everyone is the same.
I was quite disappointed recently because I offered an exceptionally clean and low mileage 2003 Rover 75 Club SE in Moonstone on here for £1000, but the typical responses were 'its worth £400 if you're lucky' and so on. So no takers, but I sold it locally for £1250! Maybe people are so fearful of being ripped off that they can't see an honest one when it appears! Or perhaps it was just the wrong time |

There are good ones out there if you can be afford to to be patient and are prepared to travel for the right car.Yes they can be wrongly described and turn out to be a disappointment but eventually you will come up trumps.
I waited 4 years to find what I was looking for and traveled 230 miles to view.Luckily I had another Rover to take me there

At that price it would be worth putting a good engine in in my opinion.

I consider myself lucky. Reading about people searching for a car, I wasn't even looking for another car when I was offered my ZT for a giveaway price and it came with close to £4,000 worth of receipts for work done by the previous owner. I'd have been stupid not to buy it.

The word mint should automatically have you running for cover, most are over 10 years old now, so unless they have been kept locked in a garage they are not, as said above avoid garages, most don't really know or care about these cars period.
