Many thanks Paul,that pic was taken a couple of years ago,just happened to get a clear spot where the sun made a quick entrance,so grabbed the opportunity.

Sunset on the Serengeti?

Actually & sadly not,it was Sunset from the A1M Nr Leeming,whilst driving home from Trikey's Barton Carnival meet,there was this absolutely gorgeous Sunset.

Jan was driving,I was travelling in the back,but on the wrong side for the sun,so I must give all the credit to our Niece Lisa, for taking this one, she was in the front passenger seat, so I handed her my Mobile & this is what she came up with.

What a fantastic shot I think this is,I think I will have some serious inter Family competition Sunset wise from now on.

May I ask what camera you have? these are truly stunning examples of pro photography! Did you use a filter on the camera for some shots or were they edited in post production? If I took the shot below with my Nikon compact camera, it wouldn't have come out as vibrant.

'Isle of Man' Sunset

Taken earlier this evening,a shot across the Solway Firth looking toward the Isle of Man in the middle distance,a quarter moon in the top left,with a lone fisherman bottom right.
