I'm here - enjoyed a lay in whilst SWMBO went for the morning papers.
Daughter is now doing me a fry up for breakfast (to 'eck with the cholesterol, fat, salt etc.) - and then we're going out house hunting
Daughter, at the ripe old age of 30, has decided she's flitting the nest this year, so we're off to look at two houses today. My main interest will be to ensure that there is absolutely NO DIY needed - 'cos guess who would be roped in for that

Thank you for your birthday greetings all - I hope I'm around for a fair few years yet to get some repeats

Have a Good one Rod.

Then tomorrow, we are driving to the coast for a week, setting off at first light. A long drive of around 14 hours. We will have a stop over half way, at a local B&B. Last time we there, we were given a room which had a peep hole over looking our bed and I had to block the hole up with loo paper...lol

You would hate it at the coast Freddie, very hot weather, a little thatched cottage overlooking the Indian Ocean, next to the mosque and the call to prayers - but is cheap to rent. Beggars can't be too choosey. The beds have mosquito nets and the management have said a fan is available hope we will be able to have some dips in the sea. The locals catch and sell Red Mullet, Snapper and Parrot fish ....not sure about a phone signal let alone Internet. If I am not on line next week that is the reason why.

It was lovely Freddie, that you had the chance to take your vintage Rover 75 out for a drive in the mid winter. A testament to a bygone era when building cars did not involve having to worry about ECUs and the like

Enjoy your break Phil, it sounds idyllic. You will have to post some photographs upon your return 😃
