actually i dont think i will be betraying jimbo when i say that he never really approved of the natter , he confided in me over dinner and drinkypoos at york that he felt it narrowed the scope of the forum !!! ie he much preffered the lighthearted nature of the odd comment in every thread
I discovered over the 4 days of the york meet how passionate jimbo is about our cars and the forum , jimbo is a heluva nice guy and great company .

I completely agree with you George. It was a pleasure to meet him at Elvington, and we're looking forward to meeting him (and you all) again, soon I hope! Jim's opinion of the chat thread notwithstanding, he must have been put out a bit by the way they treated you? Had they not flexed their ickle tiny muscles in the way they did, I'm sure we'd all be happy popping the odd humorous comment into random threads to this very day! Mind you, the way they're going the comments wouldn't see the light of day...

re howie 666.
Bloomin phones. Lol.
Jimbo is a very complicated yet plain speaking guy , in my time on org he and i hit it off from day one , what he wants for the future of org should be taken on by the people in charge , i can see him playing a big part there, i have total respect for him , i also respect his opinion , it,s a huge pity we cant converse as we did .

Evenin all!

I bin busy all day like a blue fly.

Got to be up before 7 am to take a machine, on the back of the tractor up to my neighbours to be loaded on a truck for Germany!

I didn't know there were 2 7 o'clocks in one day! lol.

Then off to do some rough cement rendering for a mate and back home to deal with e-mails etc!!

I'm going to hammer, a bit, a 3L box of Merlot first though !
