Default fan resistor

Got around to fitting updated fan resistor..Bumper off with information gleened from this site.. ..first time I have done it...I reckon if I have to take it off again I should be able to do it in about 20 minutes. Some times you get into your head that jobs are bigger than they actually are.. .Changing the resistor was easy as I bought one ready drilled and with splice and solder sleeves..I used a gas powered micro heat gun on the sleeve to solder the joint and shrink the wrap ..how handy are these sleeves ?..must get some more in for future electrical jobs ...For £12 the micro heat gun was brilliant and worth having in my miminal tool armoury...Any one who wants one can get them here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1516414784...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
The most difficult part was fixing the cable ties through the limited gap in the fan blade...Anyway to get to the point..my fan still didnt work..checked fuses ..all o.k...Aircon has never blown cold since I got the car although to be honest I would not use it until I had sorted out the fan..I suspect that the aircon needs checking and regassing and hopefully that should cure it.
I also need to take my rear bumper off to check my reversing sensor connections..if its anything like the front bumper it will be a doddle.
regards to all..

Fitted two replacement front door cards to the Primertallic ZT to replace the ones ruined by overzealous use of Superglue or similar to attach the broken oval interior door handle escutcheons.

Then I looked at the entire fleet of seven gleaming Rovers parked outside, as a swarm, yes swarm not flock of Stuka equipped starlings reenacted the bombing of Dresden.

I'm not quite sure I like the guano peppered "Rat Rod" look, so hoping for rain tonight

Came indoors to decide upon what needs fixing next in order of priority

Had the brake pipes cleaned and a T4 session to see that the in-tank pump is working at half its supposed power. UBP now working the extra load.
Another £100 to pay out for new pump.

After two new tyres yesterday, today I gave the 75 a quick wash. Looking glorious once again, with proper rubber for a change.

Carpet heater panels fitted also. I still have to paint my torpedoes, which I think will finish the look of the car nicely.

Busy weekend for me, heater changed to auto unit from manual, high line installed, full factory wiring for heated seats fitted and changed to Neptune blue from ash grey, 17 hours in total.

Some later models of MK2 have both UBP and in-tank. Most don't but mine for some reason does. They started chucking all different parts at the cars in the end. My car was built in 2004.
