I used no nails double sided tape, the red one, £6.90 from homebase. A bit fiddly but well worth it.

Well well well could you adam and eve it the finishers were here all along from Saturday Morning a friend had them at his house but because he works away and did not get back until tonight i never knew he signed for them while we were away Saturday, Collected them tonight as it happens i did not need to use them because my originals came off the MG ZT ok when i changed the two doors yesterday which had been damaged when i bought the car back in September last year and only recently came across two replacments.

photo's 1& 2 show the danaged doors i have put up with for 5 months but not no more

The two offending doors removed one stripped right down the other i finshed today pic 3
3

Replacment doors fitted and ready for the finishers to be added today after i had taken them off the damaged doors plastic OME originals pic 4
4

Removed the original finishers from damaged doors and cleaned them up ready for fitting to replacment doors pic 5

Once the rear was cleaned up i used clear sealant to stick to the car same i used before and stayed on great had to get them of with cheese wire this when pushed back will seal all round and no water can get behind them to cause any trouble pic 6
6

Fitted and pushed back so the silicone squeezes out around the edge and can be cleaned off right away pic 7

All cleaned up and fitted nicely pic 8

silicone i used pic 9

And i still have the new finishes ready for a rainy day should i have a mishap pic 10

And finaly a massive thank you to Dave and bacon buttyman for providing me/us with these great finishers most appreciated Arctic.
