Default Today I....

Adjusted my bonnet catches, changed my broken washer bottle top, replaced the split o-ring on power steering reservoir lid and wd40'd the front bumper fixings as that's coming off in a couple of days so I can spray my wire mesh and adjust the crash bar & slam plate to close the gap between the wings and bonnet

Just finishing burning the midnight oil by giving the bumps and scrapes I filled in earlier with a few coats of paint. Not a bad match fortunately, forgot to get clear lacquer so will have to finish tomorrow!

I now know why I drive an MG;-)

Interesting button in the CRV that says 'cool box'. I pressed it and nothing happened, it was still a.CRV :-)

Once you get under the bonnet up to a standard, it's easy keeping it that way. The secret product is...

Just to let you know that leaving the Basecoat on that long is a very bad practice - if it is a proper Basecoat/Clearcoat you are using is is supposed to be a 'Wet-on-Wet' Application. Just let the Basecoat flash-off and then apply the Clearcoat.
Leaving it too long can lead to delamination later, as we have seen on other bad repairs where the Clearcoat has come away leaving the Basecoat exposed...

I hope I don't sound like I'm trying teach Mother how to suck eggs here, but I did work for Glasurit, Sikkens, Spies-Hecker & 3M for quite a few years...
