What I did to my 75 today.
Removed broken rear spring, having bought sockets, see quote. Took an hour including freeing rusted nuts. Used the method oulined in a thread here, (which I would refer to if the search facility worked properly). Couldn't undo lower shock absorber bolt, so disonnected the top mounting. Fortunately the trim was already out as searching for a water leak.
New parts delivered from Rimmers today so should get it reasembled for MOT tomorrow. |

Visit to my local scrapyard unearthed a set of charcoal seats in excellent condition . A set of fitted mud flaps . Matching charcoal centre console cover. And replacement gear lever. All for £50.00 . Now just got to clean said seats then remove my slightly tired and worn stone coloured ones.

It'll look so much better after a proper polish but it doesn't look too bad with a waterless wash and a claying....!!!

Fitted a new rear spring - easy.
Fitted a after-market (from Rimmers) front roll bar link, big problems - see my detailed post "Rubbish after-market parts". |
