I just posted the same in the main forum

That one is not for me no! I have a perfectly good Auto Tourer to play with for now

Still looking for a dirt cheap pre 2001 (low tax) Con SE 2.5 auto V6 as I want to take the roof off and see what happens

If I had the money to spare, I'd buy it......

To do that sort of mileage in 6 years, it's spent it's life cruising on motorways.......

Leather interior and a new wheel....

At my current mileage it would take 50 years to cover that distance .

Looks like this could be my last car.

I'd be tempted at that price but SWMBO would have something to say I'm sure
Got to be worth that for spares?

I think at that mileage I would budget on a complete running gear overhaul

Both subframes off and check or renew everthing as I bet it is a bit loose on the corners. I am actually considering doing this on my Tourer as it has twice the mileage on it of my Saloon and you can definately feel the saloon is a lot tighter.

I Might go the polybush and stiffened springs route as well as both my cars wallow to much to the point where it is easy to scrape the front mudflaps on bends

I wonder how many clutches etc it has seen
