Nice to see some more new members today as well as the usual suspects. Always an enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Talking TOPIC: Undercover Mission - Infiltrate the 75 & ZT club..

The key to any successful mission is to ensure you have the correct equipment:
Tweed, Flat Cap, Pipe, Flask are all key components today...

I chose to take TWO travel rugs, You can't have too much tartan in these situations

Special attention was made to the correct attire, note the elbow patches...

And the comfy driving shoes...With Special reinforced heel...And special 'driving sole'...

Once the correct attire is in place, you would never guess that I was not "One of them"...

I think my special helper / partner in crime may need some more work convincing them though...

Time to get underway, we make our way to the rendezvous point at a steady 26,7 MPH...

We're building up a nice line of traffic behind us...Shall we leave the left indicator flashing just to be on the safe side?

Once at the rendezvous point, I effortlessly mingle with the gathering crowd...

There's a strong smell of "Werthers Originals" in the air...

After discussing the benefits of 2 stroke oil as a fuel pump lubricant and admiring LOTS of Walnut:

its finally time for a half of mild and to collect the fruits of a successful mission...

Quick, I think my partner's cover has been rumbled - time to make a hasty
retreat in our chosen undercover chariot...

We were a bit apprehensive of meeting with the 'Old boys', but we had a great afternoon with you. I'm proud to be a member.

Great to put faces to names and meet you all.
See you all soon,
Rich & Paula (And lad)

Brilliant, as you found out it is not necessary to sacrifice your first born to join in, but thanks for bringing him along anyway

That's a lot of tartan for a young man.....I thought you had to at least carry a bus pass to be eligible for a tartan licence...eh eh! Good to meet everyone and thanks Matt for a good chat and advice on splitters. See you all next meet.
