Question

Hi there, does anyone know where to attach the tel mute cable to the high line system? My (THB Bury) kit + telemute will 'mute' the audio and route in through the front speakers OK, but if the CD or cassette is playing at the time they will carry on, unlike when I had it connected to the symphony unit which 'paused' the cd or cassette as well as muteing the sound, until the call was finished?

Default Hi Line sat nav loom

An update on the install of the above..

When I tested the sat nav during a test drive I thought the arrow on the screen was moving with the car, but I found out that on entering the test mode I was getting a zero for the wheel sensors.
On checking the wiring the pulse for the wheel sensors comes from the ABS unit on a slate/green wire on pin 34.
As I had a slate/green wire coming from sat nav loom but no wire in the plug c0981 from the car loom I thought I would have to run a wire from the ABS unit.

Now this a major job to get at the plug for the ABS unit, the battey and the battery box has to come out about 1 1/2 work.

When I finally got to the plug and checked pin 34 there was a slate/green wire.. "what to do" piggy back a wire or check further behind the dash.
I decided to put everything back arround the battery and check again behind the dash.

After about half an hour searching I found the wire taped up in the loom.

Connected up and wheel sensors now working.

So, here is a lesson always check the loom very carefully.

There are a couple of routes you can take......

Generally down the sill, under the drivers seat and pop out under the centre console.

The video and audio modules live in the spare wheel well.....

The little plug (C0896) is for a separate speaker. You don't need it, because the nav voice comes from your car speakers.

The 8 pins plug (C1229) is the ICE harness to telephone harness if installed.

I put some pdf files for detailed information. There is no diagram of C1229 what so ever. The separate speaker connection only appears on the low line diagram.

Hi
I know this is quite an old thread now but the pdf's just won't open - I don't suppose you still have them.
I've just managed to retrofit a full hi-line system into the car (after much cutting and scraping of fingers ). All seems to work except SATNAV. All comes to life etc but just can't get the location map to pick up position. I'm assuming it's because the ABS wires are not connected - I just can't figure it out. Stripped everything back but can't find the connection to receive the loom connectors :-( Not looking forward to going into the ABS box. I wonder if you can just splice into a sensor? - prob needs the box spliced though.
