I would like a Christmas dinner meet, not sure on eating places in the central belt, but will travel anywhere to a suitable venue.

The four RS's are having a wee get together before the usual Hawes Inn meet a week on Friday (27-09-2013) to discuss a way forward for 2014.

If you have any other suggestions, comments etc about the regions events etc, give us your tuppensworth before we meet.

Default Scotland Meets

I have had my Rover 75 since new in 1999 and ONLY recently joined the club. I am just back from a Nano meet in Wolverhampton where the asked is I was involved with the Scottish area. My reply - I was not aware that their was activity and meets in Scotland till last week, so the above comments regarding new members and increased contact with Rover / MG owners is very valid. I was out in the 75 last week from Edinburgh west to Shotts and spied 4 75's. You see them in car parks, parked on the road, etc. What about small cards just advertising the benefits on making contact and taking it from their !!!!
I only live 2 miles from the Hawes and intend to turn up at the November meet. Unfortunately I cannot make next Friday ( 25th ) as I an organising a large business dinner in Bathgate that evening.

As for Car / Classic events, Biggar in mid August and Selkirk in mid September attract our kind of market. I have attended both shows for the last 20 years !!!! with another club.
Worth a consideration !!!!!!!!!

Will keep in touch

Hi Jupiter, there is a national 'flyer' for leaving under the wipers of potential members. It can be downloaded and copied from here . . .

Hi mate

Welcome to the club. It will be good to see you at some of our meets. To be honest I was surprised you didn't know we had meets as they are well discussed in our events section and of course open to all. How did you find out about the Nano meet you attended? Do we need to advertise here?

Cheers

Chris

We're hoping to try to get the club into more 'classic' car shows, whenever we can, and hopefully have a few regular meets.
What sort of events would you like us to look into organising, and we'll then look into the options, and hopefully, give you what you want!

We look forward to hearing your feedback!

Hello, and welcome to the club, Walter!
There aren't any Ayrshire/Glasgow meets as such, at the moment, though we will be at the Helensburgh Winter festival at the start of December, which you're very welcome to attend. There is a monthly meet at the Hawes Inn at North Queensferry, where the Scotland region Christmas dinner is being held on the 29th of November, which will be good fun! There are lots of other events in the summer, but if you fancy having a meet-up, there are quite a few other members in your area, and I'm sure we can sort an informal event soon.

Hi There.

Do you fancy coming over to South Queensferry on the 29th November for a meet and Christmas dinner at The Hawes Inn ?
