The mods may in fact agree with everyone else on all the issues, but when dealing with the matter officially they have to abide by the rule book.. And it appears there is no rule covering misconduct..

Slightly off topic but still relavent... As the value of our cars drops, more and more of them will go into the "old banger" sale section, ipso facto there will be a change in the sort of people who become owners, this in turn will filter through into the membership of this club. Our mods could be in for a hard time.. Could get erm,, interesting innit... lol...

Just before this thread started I was thinking of becoming a fully paid up member of the club, well it would seem from what I have just read. That I won’t be worthy, I have seen remarks on here that I thought were beyond the pale, but this beats them all. Thank you James for helping me make up my mind, this is one club I will not join.

Shocking stuff. I'm sure that the majority of people of on this forum could not care less how much an enthusiast payed for their car. All ethusiasts are welcome regardless of background or personal circumstances. Besides, one of the reasons I got a 75 is because it fitted my budget. That doesn't make me any more likely to be a trouble maker than someone who could afford a new jaguar xf.

How very dare you to mention my convictions. I never thought when I joined a ROVER club they would be held against me. I know I'm a Liverpudlian, but just because I wear a suit it doesn't make me a Defendant.
