Tony,

Whilst on the subject of installing, as your have been so helpful and knowledgable, when i removed the old unit there was a small white box in the are behind the old stereo, any ideas what it does?

There was also a small connector with three wires which was seperate to the main iso block that connected up to the unit but bounded with the rest of the wires. Any idea what this also does?

Whatever they are i have left them connected so it cant cause too much harm!

hello, i developed the wince patch for nowada boards, your device have same board.
I released my patch for your devices too.

Until then here is an OLD video, my patch on an old device and menus, but you can see what it does. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFt3tC0DAIU
The patch give access to wince , so i can say it unlocks the device. You`ll have full desktop, taskbar, you can install many applications ( some new mp3 players and video player included ) , and also internet ( extra option ) if you add a usb to the gps board ( hardware mod ).

Looks interesting, similar application to MioPocket, will give it a try once the site is up and running again.

no, is way different that miopocket. Miopocket is just a shell, this is real desktop , with many tweaks and improvements. Also miopocket have big problems running on nowada boards.
