you dont have tmc hardware on your device, that`s 100 % sure. If the board have tmc, must be another com port available, not only 2 ports. Anyone with tmc working want to run the tool ?

Yes there are several USB TMC receivers on the market, could we not use USB on the COM5? we have front connection for the USB. or how easy is it to add TMC unit on the board?

that usb is not connected to gps board. That usb is connected to multimedia board ( radio, dvd, etc ) . You need to open unit and solder a cable. I`ve done that to add internet connection.

mmm, that's very interesting, you could lake a lot of people happy, what sort of cable would you need? and does it need to go on the GPS board or the main board?, I have read all the 20 pages on your site, and have seen you have the internet on your head unit.

Perhaps you could post some more information.

all you need is a simple usb cable ( extension usb cable ), cut it to not be more than 1m long, and solder it like this :

Very good news, and would we need any more updates on your patch to enable this USB Com Port?

no , my patch fully support it ( except internet ). Internet will not be available soon for sale because a made contract with some factory...
You can use that usb to add keyboard, usb hub, card reader, etc. No bluetooth, no usb 3g modem , soon only some wifi adaptors.
Soon wifi support for free in my patch. You`ll know when will be released
