Washed Big Ron at the local drag through carwash and then took him for the MOT.

Straight pass with no advisories. Happy days.

Changed the sidelight bulbs for LED's on the facelift. I thought that it was going to be difficult but they are a piece of cake. Lift bonnet. Lift off rubber lamp covers. Pull out bulb holder. Remove bulb and replace with LED. Check LED for polarity by switching light on - if it doesn't light, remove it and replace it the other way round. Refit bulb/led holder. Close bonnet. Shimples! Nice, bright sidelights now!

You need a V8

The other advantage of the V8 is they have a large hole in the rear discs for adjusting the brakes that line up perfectly with the adjuster!

Time to whip the headlights off, take them apart and clean them internally - running without the rear caps for just a few weeks has caused all manner of dirt to enter.

Top tip - always replace the rubber caps on the back of the headlight units!

Washed and hoovered her, discovered enough food under the seats to feed a small Amazonian tribe for several weeks. I've decided my kids are clearly not old enough to eat in the car or indeed out of a high chair
