the files needed to be in firmware in windows folder to test if bluetooth hardware is present ( only on tmc units ) , are btmusic.exe and mobileremotor.exe. If anyone have them try to run and scan for bluetooth.

Thanks for the "Plug" Tony..........

Our guarantee is Solid. We will pay Shipping costs in BOTH directions per our guarantee. We normally will not wait for the defective unit to physically return, as long as it is tracking we go.

I want to say also that the forum members are a pleasure to serve.

I won't say anything about you yourself because it could never be enough. Thank you for your interest and support.

Would Cathy have been so helpful, NO from what I gather from other members who have brought there unit the back up is,--- NIL and don't seem to get back to you on any problems that you might have.

Just a big thank you to Sean

Anyway, he can try to browse to windows directory on device, and see if there is a file btdial.exe or something like that. If there is, he can run it and see if bluetooth hardware is present.

what would the bluetooth hardware do if I had it?

make calls from wince side, maybe dial up for internet, even can be integrated in igo to call from poi numbers. Also full phonebook support, i dont think there are happy users with the built in bluetooth phonebook system... so slow and buggy.

I've just updated my map from Navteq 2009.Q3 to Navteq 2009.Q4 and noticed that now on the TMC events the road number no longer appears. It came back when I went back to Q3, but why would that happen? Any ideas?

So simply sorted out and no extra costs to me unlike my previous unit which cost me £70.00 to return and I NEVER received on.

Each to their own...

I bought mine from Hualingan - before Sean showed up on the forum - safe payment - quick delivery - and my unit has exactly what i specified and paid for in my order...

...and they sent me one that worked...
