I was hoping to join in at the last minute however "The Boss" is booked in the garage next week as she is smoking for about 10 minutes after start up and having the valve seals done. Don't want to push her. Have a great day and look forward to seeing the pictures.

Cheers
Tony

Cool

Thanks for your good wishes. So far we have 5 cars and 6 owners. Derek left his car at home and came by public transport.
Might be new idea for a meet.

Owner of the car wash has offered us a deal. All the cars washed, polished and vacuumed out for £20 per car. Instead of £25. But as you know no one turns up at a meet with a dirty car.

Despite the lower turn out than we anticipated it was a good start to the North London area, everyone admired bobs new seats which looked if they had just come out of the factory they were mint !!! & cooler than leather in this weather I can tell you, as to food I can report that the Pizza hut was welcoming the company excellent and the food was very good too and not that expensive & of course as much salad and cold drinks refills as you wanted.

Dereks idea of a carless meet has some merit I think given most of us want to talk about cars when we meet so maybe a carless meet somwhere in central london for london wide membership be a great chance to meet greet & eat no traffic worries and can even have a beer or two as LT will be do the driving,So lets get our heads together and find a location for those miserable days when better the car stays at home

You had a lovely day for the meet Bob and I hope someone has the time to post up some photos. I think the car wash has to lower their prices. Same deal down the road on the Tesco Extra site, the other side of the Tesco Petrol station for £10 all in
