Well still a newbie with it ..so lots of things I havn't tried .

Plugs straight in and works ,

Despite my moan about IGO I've just posted the Satnav works well .
But the PIP in the satnav would be nice to swtich off as a option at start up .

Radio is good as is DVBT standard weeny aerial is useless outside my house tho ;;

Not found how to change the logo to An MG/Rover one yet)

DVD player seems to play most things.

Not used the IPod section yet , havn't got an Ipod)

Bluetooth works ok with my Phone

Basically it just works well so far. and looks like its got some hacking capabilities like most Chinese double dins . but thats for later.

I've had the larger tilt out screen type before and just don't like them, much prefer proper buttons for the basic features like this type has even at the expense of a smaller screen .

Chris if you PM me with your screen size and email address, I can email you the 75 or ZT splash screen it just a matter of coping it to the brand.zip file within IGO

Been fiddlin, got the tomtom 6 Files of my Old Ipaq and this is the first attempt ..

all reading the GPS and displaying ok .

The only problem with this TT6 is the voices are quiet even at full
volume

..

But also getting used to IGO as well.

TomTom version 6 will work but the problem is the maps ARE so out of date now

yup knew that .. but round yer in injun contry , the roads don't get altered at all .

it was just a trial just to see if it worked.

off to try with copy of igo8 and some updates I've found to see if I can ruin that

Do you have a copy of TomTom 7??

Have you tried it with that patch I posted on your first trip out with Igo thread??

I reckon it will work.

I won the unit I was after on eBay tonight - it's the 963d with TMC - got it for same price as non-tmc units go for.

Will probably try my version of TomTom once I have it installed - not sure how to get TMC working on it though - but we'll see.

I don't think you will find that the audio fix will work with the Chinese unit, I did try it a while ago

I'll still give it a go - but won't be so disappointed when it doesn't work.

I think I will probably end up using Igo8 - just as case of getting used to it I guess.

Can you get different voices for Igo? Have heard the female voice is very annoying? Last time I tried Igo the sound wouldn't work - a Toshiba TG01 that went back to the phone company - useless piece of plastic that was.

Hi Chris,

No there are no "funny" voices for IGO, you will be stuck with the standard male or female voice.
