![]() had a crack at the seat too:
![]() this is what the wheel looks like now after the 4 coats it has had today: ![]() both vastly improved. Can't wait to see what they look like in the light of day tomorrow. Also made a discovery - my Bluetooth elm327 OBD2 reader, which was rather useless on my 2003 CDT works beautifully on this car. Lots of data, and reads faults now - it picked up my P0151 and P0174 errors which i knew about already from my recent T4 session: ![]() These are due to my pipework on the throttle body not being all it should be, and my 02 sensor being out on the rear bank. Finally some value from it. This will be great when I get the Navall in here, install torque pro and it will be great!

![]() wheel turned out alright in the end - just need to tidy up where i masked it with a craft knife and it will be perfect I reckon. Certainly looks like an entirely different wheel:

![]() Looking good mate.
Is that Sandstone dye or smokestone? It look a different colour to the airbag or it could just be the bad light? P.S:- Got a few pics of my new recruit today. It looks better than I expected! |

![]() I think it is sandstone, smokestone would be much darker wouldn't it? It is not a perfect match perhaps, but it looks worse under the flash in that pic I think.
I'd have to throw that one open to Stuart who sent me the dye? (congrats on the car btw)

![]() The airbag does look like Smokestone to me, there's not a lot of difference between the two anyway.
![]() If you're happy with it though Tony that's what matters, looks so much better than it did before ![]() ![]()

![]() hmm not sure tbh. it doesn't look so bad in daylight, but I will ask Stubie - it may well be that I don't know the difference between smokestone and sandstone

![]() I think the Smokestone is just a little more brown-y than grey-y
![]() Like I said, not much difference to me ![]()

![]() not as bad as the wonky badge in my engine bay then eh?
![]() I can live with it, it may just be the fading over 15 years, not sure. I know its far more tolerable than how it was at the moment though ![]()
