Just going to have a cup of tea.

Got in the car this morning, turns over normally but not firing.
I can hear the fuel pumps priming so I don't think its them.
Going to investigate the FOC I've read about in the past otherwise I'm stumped!

I have a customer coming this morning for a double din install so not sure when I'm going to be able to check the car out, also it's persisting down at the moment and meant to be getting worse during the course of the day......such fun for a day off
After all the rain we have had, have you checked your plenums,it could be a flooded ECU,just a thought,I hope its just a simple fix

With you on that one Derek, don't like runny eggs.

Just watched a bit on Sky News, some poor reporter drew the short straw, standing on the shore at Milford On Sea being battered by a gale force wind and torrential rain.

Sorry to hear about the car Jeff, don't think it'll be the ECU, petrol ECUs are a lot more watertight than diesels.

I'm leaning towards fuel filter and orange clip thingy.
Especially as I could smell fuel in the car on the way home last night.
Also the car was very low on fuel before filling so I don't know if that may have any relevence !
Going to check the plenums now, just in case
