Nothing at all, apart from being astonished at how dirty it is. No time to wash it though as SWMBO was just leaving for work in it

Well at long last, I have fitted the refurbed fork spoked wheels to my cdt. Avon zv5 tyres fitted at 85453 miles. So far there does not seem to be a great difference in noise, if any. I know if you hit a small worn section of road it was a noisier bump than with the 195 section tyres. Will see how they perform when going to Germany later on.Will see if mpg alters.

This time round (second time for me) it took less than 40 min a side. In fact after fitting the first, I went in and made a cuppa, and had taken the second wheel off, and replaced the second drop link before the tea was anywhere near cold So, the removal of 7mm from the top thread to facilitate ring spanner access as well as using copper grease makes this job easy. I just hope it is not going to be an annual event. Both the old ones had failed top joints - bottom joints fine but the covers totally shot. Edit ........ - meant to say - the test drive was wonderful - not a knock, bump or squeak - (for now) Last edited by Darcydog; 6th May 2016 at 08:00.. |

Today I washed my ZT and gave the headlights a refurb using the Autoglym kit.....very impressed with the kit, fits in a drill and works a treat.
Polished Headlight with Autoglym kit.jpg If everything goes to plan my wheels will be refurbed tomorrow......pics to follow |

I've managed to get a cheap used (low mileage) lower engine mount for £20 recently so I went to fit that today. Struggled to get the bolts off originally, turns out I had what looked to be a good condition Powerflex engine mount so not entirely sure why it was causing problems.
However, the new slightly worn one has fixed the kangaroo issue I've been having in 1st gear and reverse. |

Hi Steve, SNAP! I did mine same day but in Sandstone, forgot to post it
I have a theory, when all the members have got their embossed headrests and there is hardly any to find, I think that the value will double as time goes by Ken. |

Fixed my handbrake with the mini cooper r53 replacement, now holds on 4 clicks
Also changed the pollen filter, checked the plenums and replaced my knackered clutch pedal rubber Managed all that with only a slight cut to my knuckle! I call that a win.

Well not actually involving the ZT, but today I carefully stored away the near immaculate replacement smoke grey alcantara seats that I picked up in the week. Who's a happy bunny then!
