You'll have to guess Graham

Let's just say it's not a common breed, and a step away from the Washington Streethound "Molly" who I rehomed after sorting out her owners cracked 013 Gainsborough Millennium bevel

Bumper off day, vitons fitted, led fogs courtesy of Ronnie in, 8K 55W HIDs fitted (pita) and the stainless bumper bolts to finish it all off, however, after firing up all the lights I have to say my LED sidelights now look distinctly yellow

My job was simple - replace a blown stop light ...

... on the tourer

That resulted in the bottom clip coming away with the lamp unit and the discover of a single wire patched in to the light unit sub loom (obviously to do with the towbar. Well I think 'numpty' why did you patch it there you fool? So being as I'm going to the usual tourer rear light unit trouble I check the rest of the (still functioning bulbs) in an effort to cover as much as possible so it can be quite some time until I need do this again - so change the main tail lights for some led ones I've got handy as well as the indicator bulbs as one is peeling rather nastily.

Of course to do this involves removing the unit from the other side of the car. So take the screws out, give the unit a wiggle in each direction and then a sharp pull mainly upwards from the bottom and hey presto it actually comes away without breaking anything . What do I find.....?????

Well I find that the numpty who patched to the offside indicator instead of the loom.... Has patched to every single damn wire on the nearside! I can't move the lamp more than 3 inches away from the body.

I'm not going to rectify this now but Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Bulbs changed buttoned back up with some rtv holding the bottom plastic socket on the offside and all is ok. ... for now.
