Worked on my newly acquired V6 Contemporary. Checked the plenums and fitted the spy hole mod. Fitted the auto boot lift mod springs. Thanks Rugby rover. Check oil and coolant. Add petrol. Smile whilst driving to get everyone a takeaway.

Yesterday (Tuesday) had the tow bar electrics sorted. New wiring, plug and bracket and relay all fitted by local specialist. Cost £80 but it is peace of mind knowing it has been done correctly .

The CDT came with a new tow bar fitted but no electrics. Now I can hitch up the little trailer and start clearing some of the scrap that has accumulated .

Went out to lunch and did some shopping. 30.5 degrees outside, ice cold inside. You just gotta love ATC. What a comfy barge I drive. Love it.

DONE: HAD A CRAZY IDEA THAT I HAD TO GET RID OF MY MG ZTT DUE TO NOT HAVING A DRIVE AND HAVING TO PARK ON A BUSY STREET WITH A VIEW TO GETTING ANOTHER ONE AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE A DRIVE.

ENDED UP REALISING IT REALLY ISN'T PRACTICAL NOT HAVING A CAR TO GET AROUND AND I NOW OWN A VW EOS 3.2 V6 INDIVIDUAL (1 OF 20 REMAINING IN THE UK WITH THAT ENGINE AND TRIM COMBO) EVEN THOUGH I STILL LIVE ON A BUSY ROAD WITHOUT A DRIVE
