Back to the topic...

The social aspect of Rover forums has got me out and about in the last few years. Made a few friends, visited places I wouldn't have otherwise and even been to a couple of weddings.

Have to admit I spend more time here than I do over at the technical side. You get a laugh and get to help others. I started the guitar thread because I was getting great advice about my 75 but my knowledge of cars is average at best and I wouldn't feel confident enough to offer advice, unless it was something I've experienced. However, I do know about electric guitars and I'm happy to offer advice on them as a thank you.

Had thought about one before, but it wasn't really an option as a daily driver. Now I am thinking second car for weekends, etc.

I think we all understand your thinking Steve. We all have our strengths and weaknesses, best to use the former and push the latter to the back, out of the way.

The social side of any club is it's mainstay, even with all the techie info on here, if you just made links to the "How-to's" the site would soon decline and die...

People make a club innit... And in this club we have an amazing amount of exceptionally nice people......
