You will need to go into the program and check as previously mentioned.
This will tell us whether it is receiving satellite signals but not locking or whether it isn't receiving anything ?

I take it the multi pin GPS connector is round the right way and no pins are bent on it ?
The plug is the right way no bent pins TBH it's a bad design I prefer the type on the Navall 2, I like how they changed the rear USB sockets so they don't bend when installing it but now added a large plug for the GPS antenna it makes no sense to me.

The symbol is a satellite with a circle and spots going around it when pressing this it goes to a page which shows signal strength but that is blank, I think he is coming round today so will take it out again and make sure the pins or plug didn't bend or come out when pushing it into position, but when I install ant stereo I always put it in position and put my fingers round the rear to make sure the radio antenna or other plugs are still attached and it felt like it was still plugged in.

I'm sure it's something simple and I will get it working just making sure I set everything up correctly on the system before I take it out again.

If it's showing blank then double check the connection and if that's okay it could be a faulty GPS antenna

The reason behind the multi pin plug is that the GPS on the Navall3 receives two different navigation systems, the GPS we all know plus the Russian equivalent which Sean will remind me what it's called

Those damn Russians and their different sat nav systems lol, If the plug was right/left handed (whichever faces down) much like the radio antenna it would not catch on the bulkhead meaning it wouldn't get caught or dislodged I will be checking it either today or tomorrow so will see if it came out or bent.

Is there another part to the apk ? this seems only to be skins.
I do not have the dab aerial plugged in but that should not stop the dab gui showing would it?
Ken.
Edit: and the icon in the apps says NavallStoreSkin

Hi Ken,

Did you extract the file first and then copy to the route of the card?

Your unit was the pre production unit,

The sockets on the rear have been re designed since Sean raised these concerns.

The socket is now on a flying lead out the back and also a few other changes have been made to the connectivity

I found with the pre production removing a bit of the plastic bulkhead material sitting behind the radio aided it's installation

This is what I got off Sean.
File Name: Navallstore Skins May 23rd 2015.apk
Size: 355 KB

This is my opinions.... Apk installer should unpack it as far as I am aware, which it seems to do and seems to install but it does nothing but flash/flicker the screen when pressed.
If I unpack the .apk file, there is nothing in there that will install, this is what`s in the opened file :

3 folders named:
assets
META-INF
res

3 more items called:
AndroidManifest
classes.dex
resources.arc

Surely they don`t need to be in the Root Folder, or do they?? I did unpak and put them in but as I say there is nothing then to install.
I feel, as you do (in your water) there is something missing.
Now I`m in a mess, because I used win-rar to unpack the .apk file all my .apk files are now stuck with winrar icon.
Ken.

Hi Ken,

That doesn't sound correct and is to small.
I think as you do Sean may have just sent the skins and not the app itself.
My copy of it here is 573kb .

I would ask Sean to check that he sent the right Dropbox file Sir
