Had to fit a new battery as the old one died on Thursday morning when it was frosty. Fitted one of these and what a difference, never had a diesel turn over as quick. Also a good price at £95 with Euro Car Parts XMAS discount code.

New Year New Jobs,

Wired the new dash cam in, used the 'hard wire kit' that was available, also wired in the secondary cigarette socket in the centre console cubby hole (Genuine Rover accessory)

Whilst on, I replaced the climate control unit, and the radio eyebrow, as both had broken fixing lugs and were not sitting correctly.

I bought one from Amazon.

Surprisingly enough, it cost £95.17 without any discount or code.

Even more surprisingly the non discounted, non sale price wasn't a rival of euro car parts, it was euro car parts themselves.

Things like this are why I don't believe any retailer when they claim to be having a sale

Just goes to show don't always believe what you here or read, it's always worth spending a few minutes doing a search for an item,.... I do, it's so worth it.

And my Bosch Silver 096 cost £78 inc VAT at Costco, no discount there either, and you don't need to worry about losing the receipt, as if it fails with the five year warranty, they'll refund the original purchase price without question

I actually think that £95 for a Bosch Silver 096 isn't bad, whether you get it from them via Amazon or use the discount code for in store.

My tourer battery is on it's last legs, but has had a fair innings.

I am off to ECP to pick one up later.
I did think about the Costco option, but the 35 odd quid membership and the fact that I would have to drive half way round the world to Bristol or Southampton, would make it too expensive.
(Also they don't have any for £78 at the moment).

ECP is just round the corner from me so the ability to pick up when I needed it was important. I'm more than happy with the price. May consider sorting my FBH now I've got this fitted.
