France? But the road markings show driving on the left. Interesting when they "hit the road"

Slightly off topic, I understand there's one bit of public road in the UK where it's "drive on the right". Anyone know where?

Clue - it's for convenience to passengers.................

Many parking entrances are in the opposite way to the normal driving side in France. It allows the driver (on the left side of the car :lol to reach out and use his key or some device to open the door. The same reasoning applies to the upgoing cars, so that's why we sometimes have to drive on the wrong side of the road .
