I am turning into my Father.
As restrictions are starting to ease locally, yesterday evening for the first time in months we went out to dinner at a nice steakhouse with another couple. As I had spent last week cleaning and waxing the ZT we took that. (The friends had never ridden in one before and were rightfully impressed. ) Of course, while we were in the restaurant it rained. Late in the evening, after our guests left, I found myself in the garage wiping down the car to prevent water spots. I am, officially, my Dad!

Replaced the drop links on the Freelander.
It's slowly getting better, the more it is driven, the more things that previously appeared to be okay, are proving to be not so. Once I'm happy with the car, I shall give it to the wife to use, so I can get on with scrapping her 75. Brian |

Yesterday I pulled the MGs out and gave the garage floor a good cleaning.
It's nice and shiny now. It's odd how something so simple can make you feel good. Today a drive in the country in the ZT190 with Mrs. RIV, maybe with a stop for lunch as things are starting to re-open here in B.C. Edit; Here is a pic of Andy at Fort Langley, the site of a Hudson's Bay Company fur trading fort on the Fraser River and one of the first settlements in the province of British Columbia We were in a cafe in the village of Fort Langley when a Deux Cheveaux pulled into a parking space outside. There was a Ford Galaxie 500 behind him and the driver s stopped in the middle of the street to check out the 2CV and talk to the owner. The 2CV is a rare car here as they were never sold here.

Went out to Wroxham and did some shopping. The place was full of noisy Lunneners, so I hot footed it to North Walsham to shop with "locals"!

That looks well shot.
Years ago I dropped the fuel tank on a Granada and the top of the tank had rusted through and fallen in. |

Owned the car for 13 years and this is the 2nd one I've fitted. Really bad design , it sits right behind the n/s rear wheel so gets peppered with all the stuff chucked up by the wheel. Money was tight when I replaced the last one so got the cheapest I could find. You would still expect part of the fuel system to last longer than just over 6 years though. Stan
