Perhaps you should have fitted some aftermarket parking sensors (£15) before having the bumper sprayed and refitted.

I did think about it but i've tried to keep her as original as possible and i quite like the look of the bumper without. Fortunately i have a little more spacial awareness than the previous owner

Cleaned and polished all four of my alloy wheels, then washed and valeted the car, inside and out, hoovered the carpets and mats. Took extra time cleaning the dust from door shuts/door edges/hinges, everything sparkles when you open the doors now.
Cleaned and polished all the crud from the sills, car looks really cared for again, happy days. Going to ache tomorrow as I am in my mid fifties and everything seems to ache after some hard graft.
In my twenties I could work on cars for 8 hours solid and never a twinge. Oh the joys of aging.

Visited my local car breakers yard today, and at long last a rover 75 CDTI is there, I managed to get a power steering pump, alternator and a starter motor all for £45.00
A few more parts to add to my collection of spares, I aim to keep my ZT CDTI on the road for as many years as possible.
Was hoping the rear door window mid seals were in good order, but alas corrosion has attacked both rear seal strips.
Its been such a long time since a diesel CDTI has appeared in the yard.
So much of the interior/exterior trim and instruments have already gone.
At least this one car is already keeping many owners happy in there search for parts. Sad to see as its only a 2003 model, the shell seems solid no rust that I can see.

Car has been without front speaker covers for weeks after fitting new larger speakers, so finally got round to replacing them.

Had my bro-in-law cut out perfect circles removing the solid plastic circular rims from the plastic teardrop shell so they'd sit flush, then replaced the cloth with new black speaker cloth.
What a difference, and cost £7, including the glue. Bargain.
