I plead being still inebriated from yesterday - George (Flyer) will be on shortly to castigate me with his claymore. I shall now sneak an amendment into the origional post.

Good afternoon Rod how's the head

I'll bet that brings tears to your eyes

Just been down to the garage, had a look at the 260, see what level of prep it needed for tomorrow. It was well polished etc for meeting Phil on Wednesday, all it needed was the dust wiped off then a quick buff over with a cloth, looks fine, that was easy

Boot packed with standard club meet equipment, just need sarnies or similar, milk and petrol.

What's the normal stuff you take Steve? Should we take sandwiches, or is there a pub for dinner? This is my first time so I'm not sure what to bring

When I look upon a photograph.
Not so long ago, not so faded.
A picture of my beloved big brother.
The memories had filled my mind.
The times we cried and the times we laughed.
How my brother watched over me,
Made sure I was not hurt.
When I was sick, he helped me get better
We'd go on shopping trips.
We thought we would grow old together.
Through the years we thought it was true.
Brother and I worked together.
Then time had come to call.
My big brother had to go.
He passed away, he went to eternal sleep.
God is holding him as he sleeps.
Until he comes to call.
All I have are memories and a photograph.
In memory of big brother Dave.

RIP

Together Forever

Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Getting better as the day progresses thanks Derek - as for the digestive system, that's a different story

This is my first Gretna, I have heard there is a cafe but being such a tourist magnet I can't imagine it being cheap! My usual "meet kit" is Tesco sarnies or something along those lines, wee stove, water and all the doings for coffee.
