To follow on from above, some pics taken on the same day from the Lake shore line showing the high water, the landing stages for the launches are practically under water 8th October 2023.

Many thanks for your kind words Phil, Derwentwater never seems to disappoint, the changing weather, the ever changing tree & Mountain colours together with amounts of rainfall that quickly changes the water level from low to high all with dramatic effect, not surprising this is one of my favourite places.
