Default Good News and Bad News

Well ladies and Gentleman,

So far our experiences have been interesting, educational and fun.

The bad news first,

I received notice this AM when we tried to reorder, that the factory requires another 50 Pieces from us for the RDS units as they are out of "components".

Sales were brisk in the beginning and we invested in 100 Units but as of the past few weeks have been only 2 or 3 per week. At this point I am not prepared to put out about US$18,000.00 to linger waiting for sales for that period of time. Especially with the very low Price.

We are still able to get these with Analog TV but they are holding me hostage re: the RDS.

On Top of that they increased the price $18.00 (Well 15$ and $3 for yours truly) . I got as close as I could to the former Chinese price but I profit very little and this would about kill any desire I have to continue at the $US498.00 Price. So If I was to continue anyway I would probably be price uncompetitive at $US516.00. I have to consider our risks with the guarantees and that wonderful ash cloud "somehow" lost 3 units on me which came out of my pocket. About $US1300.00

We have only 2 units left with RDS (After all current orders are filled) but still have access to the Units Without RDS. And I have 7 Units with Analog TV. (NO RDS)

I Guess that at this point I will have to bow out to my Chinese competitors. My warranty is still good, All orders will be shipped of course and I will still be lingering and hanging around.

The Good News

We will be pursuing the UPDATE Patch and are working on it now. I should have information for you all soon as we have obtained the exclusive rights to offer this on the forum which will convert your units to Internet access , WiFi and more. Announcement should be official this week.

Would be cool to know who, if anyone will be interested in this added feature.

I still have MG/75 Cameras in Inventory and DVB-T (Freeview) Players.

I AM NOT ABANDONING YOU OR MY STATED RESPONSIBILITIES

I would love to be able to continue but can only do so if we can reach at least 1/2 of those (25 Pieces) in a rather short time. Deposits, (Like Before) would be okay but I just don't think there are that many new buyers.

I will continue to offer them on my website until the last 2 are gone. After that the website will not accept orders. My website price is higher and will not change as it is more at regular Market price.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me: [email protected]

Cheers and a tip of the hat to all of you.

The best Forum I have ever worked on BY FAR !

Its only that one station so I assume its something to do with the RDS data its transmitting.

Strange thing is that my last system and the system in my work car are not affected

Sorry to hear that you may not be around as much as you have been, Sean. You have been a great asset to this Club and its ICE needs. I would be interested in the new patch once more information is available on it.

Its only a local station so I'm not that worried. I'm just curious as to why its happening.

+1 interested for the updated patch.

I will try to gather "Rover addicts" here in Serbia and suggest them to make one big order of units from you. If I succeed, you'll be having at least 7-8 units to ship.

Default Radio reception

Do people find the the radio reception on these units good?

My only gripe with mine is the poor reception. My previous systems had no problem with the radio.
