Concluded that one of the replacement rear dampers has failed after 6 days. Interior trim out again!

Got the engine back in, filled with fresh oil, put the driveshafts in then refilled the gearbox, refitted all the coolant pipes then refitted the inlet manifold, refitted the rad then slowly filled it with water, put the airbox on then connected the battery, pulled the engine relay and turned the engine over until the oil light went out, then put the relay back and turned the key, fired up straight away.
Only prob was a pinched fuel rail O ring, replaced that and all seems well, apart from the fan which has decided that it will only work on high speed, tho it worked perfectly ok before.

I bought new tyres for my 190. Got a really good deal on some Goodyear Eagle F1, 200£ for all four!
Went for a different size, 235/40/18 instead of the standard 225/45/18.
Almost the same as standard and it didn't affect the speedo too much but the car feels alot more grippy and responsive in the corners.
I'm really pleased!

Fitted my wind deflectors and the front mudflaps, was going to fit the rears too but as I need to drill the holes decided to leave that for another day.

Default Fitted a new front grill

£5 from the scrappers. It came off a W reg 2.5 and it's in better nick than the one it replaces.

'appy with it too. 20140505_145520 (800x600).jpg

I think the damp must have got into the badge on the other one but this one looks clearer and brighter.

Removed some small stains from the headlining and then washed and polished.
