8 parking sensors with painting them in the body colour, new police horn, rear footwell amber led cob lights, 2 USB ports and one 12V outlet into the armrest storage, painted the lower front grill in almost chrome, applied 25mm roof chrome trim, applied walnut & chrome to the air vent cup/phone holders and painted the brand Continental on the tires in yellow.
All day long...

I had problems with my rear number plate light not working, so decided to find out why. Having taken the chrome do dah (cover/ handle) off the bootlid, after taking the sound proofing off the bootlid,I took the whole light unit off. I found that the printed circuits were no longer working when tested, only intermittently. Sssooo, I got four pieces of wire, and connected them by soldering them to each of the contacts within the lamp holders. Needed a couple of holes drilling in the top of each of the plastic bulb holders for the wires to go through, making sure that they came out away from the bulbs themselves because they get hot when on. I had to drill a hole in the bootlid for the wires to go through into the space behind the number plate to connect them up. This was drilled midway between where the old connectors ( spade terminals) went into the same space behind the number plate, and liberal amounts of Vaseline was plastered round the new hole.Out with the soldering iron, deciding not to use connectors. Then the connectors on the rear light loom for the lamps were stripped and connected to the new wires by solder. Please note, that when you remove the actual light unit, the ‘sticky backing’ on it, if you are not careful, will be u.s.. Mine came off in large bits, so when refitting, I restuck what bits were left, and put a line of grey silicon along it to help it stick and seal it. Everything was put back o.k.and I now have two rear number plate lights that work. Hurrah.

Replaced the orange indicator bulb for Kim's rear o/s light.
(dropped the first into the hole )
I'll fish it out with a sticky tab on the end of a wooden stirrer when it stops raining.

Default what i did to my zt today

Just shortened roof rails from a zt-t to fit my zt saloon, now fitting a roof rack is no problem quick fit and quick demount. Car looks a little different than most saloons, never seen a saloon with roof rails.
