Wagon and horses are you ditching that M111 PKG plate and strutting your stuff with a S plate which is S542 AOX???You are the oldest in the club with chassis number 1477,

However if we secure its sisters S471 AOX, then this one will superseed yours with chassis number 1382, however if we secure the "KING DADDY"
S525OVP, Then this car will take the crown mate with chassis number 1196, a 1998 S plate and the oldest known surviving model.

But you are king at the moment mate and enjoy it.

Thank you for joining the club, BUT! THANK YOU MORE FOR SAVING A "S" REGISTRATION ROVER 75.

MG.

Congrats

Lets hope the variations of being told it needed two watering cans of water against the dealer saying it only needed half a litre don't prove to be anything more than a misunderstanding.

I would however recommend you take the engine cover off for a while and keep an eye on the gap between the V looking for water loss as the thermostat housings fail and that was always more likely be the cause than the gaskets.

As this is the for sale forum and the car is sold I suggest you now start a thread re your car in the tech help forum where you can ask all sorts of relevant questions

if you go to the main page and then click on the header of the sub forum you want to post in, at the bottom left of the page you will see a new thread button, click this and you can start your own thread.

Hope that helps
