lol that's the same thing I do They're very tender & the meat just falls off the bone. I will definitely be stocking up on these.

I need to go to Lidl also. I want one of those maintenance car battery chargers that they've got on special offer. My old one does a trickle charge /Boost but is about 25 years old & getting rather rusty I think I need a new one There's one just up the road from me & if it's not snowing heavy tomorrow I might go out & get one.

I suspect Stu may well have something up his sleeve (or somewhere) for tonight too?

Default Ah! Yes! Mr RPWC...

...The Leyland Worldmaster chassis!

Was introduced in 1954 as a response to feedback from customers who wanted a more powerful engine than the O.600 in the Royal Tiger; the first underfloor engined bus released by Leyland Motors in 1950. It is a heavy duty mid engined chassis with a Leyland O.680 engine set 150-200 bhp. Various gearboxes available included the semi automatic Pneumo-Cyclic unit.

Steel and Air over Steel suspension were options.

It was too heavy for the domestic market- the chassis alone was about six and a half tons!

They sold on every continent.

Production ended in 1979.

Some are still in service now!

Ah! That must be lovely Tony! Lucy had heated seats! The brilliant thing about them is that the engine does not need to be switched on to feel warm when it's cold outside!

Really informative post Stu, please tell us more about the various Leyland buses that interest you. Do any of them have an Auxiliary heater by any chance?
